Robin's own academic path began at the University of Vermont, where she obtained a B.A. in Environmental Science. She furthered her studies with an M.S. in Environmental Science and Education at Antioch University. She most recently studied College Admissions Counseling at UCLA’s highly regarded certificate program. Her diverse career in education encompasses roles as an AP teacher and academic advisor in private boarding and public schools, alpine ski coach, therapeutic wilderness guide, and AP Exam Reader (scorer) for the College Board. As an academic advisor and mentor, Robin provided guidance to college-bound students and crafted hundreds of persuasive college admission recommendation letters, aiding in gaining acceptance to a wide array of esteemed universities.


With a passion for learning and a keen understanding of the dynamic world of college admissions, Robin is committed to helping students and families navigate this intricate journey. Her tailored approach is particularly beneficial for students who struggle with executive functioning, as she uses structured task management techniques to make daunting timelines more manageable. Drawing on nearly two decades of direct engagement with high school students, Robin excels in building and maintaining impactful relationships. Her adeptness at connecting with students personally allows her to offer individualized guidance.
