Description of Services : I assist with high school course selection and extracurricular planning, aptitude and career exploration, thoughtful and balanced college list building, and comprehensive application support. Perhaps above all, I help each student tell their unique story. In this time when essays matter more than ever, I personally support students with their writing required for admissions, honors colleges, National Merit, and other scholarships. I am patient allowing stories to emerge. Finally, I am responsive to the many questions that arise from both students and parents along the journey.

Description of Experience : I launched Brightline Admissions in 2018 while working toward my Certificate in College Counseling from UCLA. I completed my college counseling practicum in the fall of 2018 at the Alexander Dawson School in Boulder County, Colorado. At Dawson I worked closely with the Director of College Counseling personally assisting a senior class of 60 students with the college application process. In addition, outside of my private clients, I advise students at Keith Country Day School in Rockford Illinois. The school no longer has enrollment large enough for a dedicated college counselor, and I fill this role as a consultant to the school. I teach the College Counseling class to Juniors and Seniors, prepare and present parent information sessions and work individually with students on building college lists, essay writing and responding to questions.
