Description of Services : I help students identify and apply to colleges which will work well for them academically, socially, and financially. I guide students through all aspects of the college selection and application processes, assist families with financial aid forms, and discuss the final college choices.
Description of Experience : I spent my early professional life as a community college and community education instructor. I completed the UCLA College Counseling program after nearly a decade of assisting my own children, family and friends with the college selection process. My practicum for the UCLA program was at a public high school for gifted and talented students. I have worked with a diverse range of students through my private practice, as a member of a workshop team, and as a mentor to First Generation students through a local scholarship program.
