Description of Services : On My Way Consulting guides students through the entire college admissions process, from high school course planning through making the final decision of where to attend.

Our services are highly personalized to suit each student's unique needs. We begin by completing an in-depth assessment of your college preferences, learning style, and personality, then create a custom list of good-fit colleges to consider. We then work together to narrow this down to the best-fit schools to which you will apply. During the application process we help the student stay organized, on-track, and with low-stress. We also provide extensive writing support for the UC Personal Statement, the Common and Coalition Application essays, and supplemental essays.

In addition, we help to target colleges that fit the family's budget and guide parents through the process of applying for financial aid. We can also advise on ways to maximize your potential for merit and need-based aid.

Description of Experience : I have worked as an Independent Educational Consultant with On My Way for 5 years. Additionally, I have mentored first generation college-bound students with the nonprofit 10,000 Degrees, Scholarmatch, and Junior Commissioners while serving as a Commissioner for the Sonoma County Women's Commission.
