Description of Services : We get to know our students on a personal level so that we can guide them in every aspect of the college admissions process, from generating a list of colleges to writing essays that celebrate your individuality.

Project Management: We tailor our admissions services to your family’s needs by providing full-service admissions support, as well as “a la carte” services. For some, we “run it all” (yes, spreadsheets — lots of colorful, organized spreadsheets), and absolutely nothing slips through the cracks. From supporting your student with developing a robust extracurricular profile to brainstorming outstanding essays and scheduling college information sessions, we've got your family covered. We streamline the application process to maximize your efforts and with our regularly scheduled check-ins, you’ll never feel alone in the process.

Exploration: We begin our mentorship process with a “kick-off” meeting to explore your student’s goals for college, with special attention to academics, extracurriculars, and testing plans. As we explore together, we focus on identifying your student’s narrative, as well as establishing a tailored plan for your family.

That’s why we approach the personal statement and school-specific essays holistically. We emphasize storytelling techniques, writing style, and tone, which provide students a framework for building cohesive narratives that captivate admissions committees.

Description of Experience : Nikki Weiner blends her experience as an educator, college admissions coach, and professional writer to support students and their families as they navigate the college admissions process. She earned a B.A. in Chinese and East Asian Cultures with a concentration in Creative Writing from Barnard College, Columbia University. During her time at Columbia, Nikki was selected to participate in Middlebury College’s prestigious Language School in China.

Through working as an Educational Consultant for three companies, Nikki has devoted her career to exploring every facet of the higher education landscape. Furthermore, her experience coaching students in both the American and Chinese pedagogical system for nearly a decade uniquely positions Nikki to accommodate students from diverse backgrounds as they face the challenges of applying to college.


Over the course of her career, Nikki has successfully designed and instructed a comprehensive workshop series on the college application process for a college preparatory program. Through this series, she helped students gain acceptance to top-tier schools. Additionally, she brought her high-level of energy and passion to oversee a team of 10 writing specialists to coach students in writing their personal narrative essays. Finally, Nikki has served as a guest speaker in the U.S. and abroad to share her expertise on writing and the college admissions landscape.

To this end, she draws from her extensive experience helping students build their executive functioning skills. These skills include time management, study strategies, and organizing coursework. Nikki's ultimate goal is to provide students with the tools to thrive through the admission process and beyond to reach their full potential.
