Description of Services : At College Counseling Pathways, Melanie Nazareth’s approach to values-based counseling rests on honesty, and authenticity. Through individualized attention, she enthusiastically blends encouragement with realism to guide college bound students and their families as they navigate the complex application process. Melanie works with students ranging from freshmen to seniors and stresses the importance of candidacy building throughout high school. No matter when students start the process, Melanie systematically works with her students to discover their unique talents, explore their interests, reach their highest potential and develop a compelling college application.

Through ethical and comprehensive guidance, Melanie aims to:
• Help students identify their academic interests, career aspirations while contributing to their school, community, and society.
• Guide students to portray their unique stories through their compelling personal statements and application essays.
• Systematically guide students through the complete college application process to successfully find a best fit college.
I offer families the choice of a comprehensive package or hourly as needed assistance.

Description of Experience : I enjoy working with high school students. I emphasize strengthening their student profiles through developing a course plan and extracurricular activities that reflects their interests, aptitude and talents. I encourage students to develop a values-based approach to their college application to portray their unique stories and explain why they are interested in a particular field of study. I help them build a realistic college list that will enable them to thrive in a best fit college.
