Description of Services : We do one-on-one tailored advising of students and families of all backgrounds and from various countries from around the world.

Description of Experience : I've worked with paying clients since I was in middle school, assisting in translations for parents as well as for advocating for students. Many schools more so in the 1980s and 1990s were just beginning to see a rise in Korean international student applications. From my experience, I observed considerable miscommunication and challenges that the students faced. Much of our work at the time was to assist the students and families to have useful tools to better address the challenges so that they can empower themselves. I had mainly worked with almost all the Korean students attending the Curtis Institute of Music and Friends Select School in center city Philadelphia among others of various backgrounds and ethnicities in the greater Philadelphia area at the time. While keeping the domestic organization running, I started an organization in Seoul, Korea to address the concerns from where students were coming. Eventually my practice grew to include more domestic students and other international students from all around the world.
