Description of Services : I support students with essay writing strategies, personal statements and supplemental essays. I utilize a comprehensive and structured program (College Essay Experience) that keeps each student on point and engaged, while allowing their individual writing voice to emerge and ensure their essays enhance their applications. I support students during the entire college application process. This includes creating a college list that fits a students particular needs and desires, researching colleges, guidance on demonstrated interest, touring campuses and interviewing, advising on the testing process and resume writing support and guiding families and students on making the final choice of the school the student will attend. I also enroll students in a web-based program that provides comprehensive, detailed support to keep the college application process organized and on track.

Description of Experience : As a long-term high school counselor and now college advisor, I love working with teens. My inspiration comes from guiding teens as they dream about their futures, turning their dreams into a reality. My extensive experience in personal and social counseling allows me to work with students in an empathetic and compassionate way. I have a student-centered, holistic-approach and I strive to maintain a demeanor that is relaxed, encouraging, creative and supportive.
