Kathleen Sabet is the Founder and Principal Counselor of Solas College Advisors,  working with students from both public and independent high schools across the United States. Kathleen expertly guides students in crafting college applications that highlight their unique strengths and individuality.

Her extensive experience has given her a deep understanding of the selective admissions process and the factors that shape college decisions. Kathleen has gained valuable insight into the evolving landscape of higher education through long-term relationships with admissions professionals. Her college travels have taken her across the US, Canada, the United Kingdom and Europe.

Bringing decades of insight to each student journey, Kathleen leads students and families through the complexities of competitive college admissions. She navigates with calm, confidence and care through a student’s journey to find the college where they will thrive academically and personally. 

Kathleen earned a Professional Certificate in College Counseling from UCLA, a MA in Counseling Psychology from Lesley University, and a BS in Business Administration from the University of Mary Washington. She was selected to attend Harvard University's Summer Institute on College Admissions. Her professional affiliations include the Higher Education Consultants Association, National Association for College Admission Counseling and the New England Association for College Admission Counseling. She is also a licensed School Counselor in California and Massachusetts.
