Description of Services : I've been teaching since 1993 and working with students in various capacities on the college process since 1996. I spent seven years writing screenplays and won a number of awards, so I understand narrative arc and can empower students to reflect on their values and experiences to create the most impactful essays possible. I work very hard to establish strong relationships with my students, so they know that there is another adult in their lives who cares deeply for them, is on their side, and will advocate for them at all times.

Description of Experience : I first worked with students on their college essays as a private school English teacher in NJ in the mid-1990s. I worked for College Coach in MA in the early 2000s. I assisted students with their applications in NC beginning in 2006, then worked with students on transfer and scholarship applications as an adjunct at Wake Tech Community College, beginning in 2013. I opened my company, Empower Triangle Tutoring, in 2018.
