Hello! My name is Cornelia Betschart - Fuertes. I am the founder of Global College Advisers (GCA) and help students find and apply to colleges and universities in the United States and internationally.
Growing up in Germany, where education is accessible and free for everyone, including international students, it is important to me that education is precisely that: accessible and affordable. Whether students apply to colleges in the USA, internationally, or both, I ensure that the college choices fit students not only academically and socially but are also a financial fit for the family.
Since part of GCA's mission is to make students aware of college opportunities on a global scale, I introduce international college choices as I develop a student's personalized college list. Many international university options allow for attaining a Bachelor's degree in a shorter time and offer more affordable tuition fees than US colleges.
