Description of Experience : Along with my experience as a Juilliard-trained professional dancer of many years, I have been advising high school dance students for the last several years, the last two years with COPA,Inc (College Options in the Performing Arts).  I work one on one with students who have varying interests in dance/dance forms, from those who plan to double major or minor in another discipline (such as combining majors in Nursing and Dance), to those looking at conservatories and conservatory-type dance programs within larger universities. I also work with students who want to find programs where they can continue dance at a high level while majoring in something else, or who want involvement with dance teams and/or other extracurricular dance activities.  My students have wide and varying Interests in dance studies, such as Choreography, Dance Education, Dance Therapy, and Dance Science, as well as in performing.   I present performing arts information sessions to schools such as PPAS (Professional Performing Arts School) and LaGuardia High School, both in New York City, and have moderated a workshop in performing arts programs in colleges at a NACAC event.
