Description of Services : Carina works with students throughout high school to assist in ensuring they are prepared for college and for compiling a list of suitable schools to which to apply. We then work with the student and through the application and financial aid process, providing resources for test preparation, essay support, summer internships and financial aid.

Description of Experience : Worked pro bono starting in 2007. Started with paying clients in early 2011, working on college search and application work. I have worked full-time as an IEC since 2012 and work with students throughout the country. While the majority of my students are traditional (high school transitioning to 4 year colleges), I have also worked with JC to 4-year college transfers and other non-traditional students.
