Description of Services : North Shore College Consulting provides individual, comprehensive guidance throughout the college preparation, selection and application process. We know that the college admissions process is complex and can at times be very overwhelming, so our aim is to assist families through every phase. We recognize that no two students are identical. Therefore we strive to develop a custom plan for each student based on his or her personal needs and aspirations. Description of Experience : Assisted students in the college planning and application process by writing letters of recommendation and helping them navigate application tools such as the Common App and Naviance in the high school setting. At North Shore College Consulting; Work closely with and shadow owners to learn the process and company culture
Work with an assigned caseload of high school students, from freshmen through senior year, on all aspects of the college admissions process. This includes meeting with students throughout the year, as well as preparing for all aspects of each meeting, advising students between meetings, answering questions, researching answers as necessary and following up after all meetings
Communicate with parents on a regular basis
Market company through various social media outlets, including developing and finding content to share, Participate in continuing education/professional development, including travel to college campuses, Participate in networking events and group, Research and write blogs about various college admissions topics
Coordinate events to speak publicly about college admissions, Develop relationships with local high school counselors, regional college admissions representatives, and other educational experts.
