Description of Services : Launchpad Advisory Services LLC is an educational consultancy serving high school students and their families as they explore college admissions, college students looking to transfer schools, and young adults who may be looking to return to college after a hiatus. Launchpad also seeks to serve high school students with learning challenges to explore options for continued growth after high school. These options may include, but are not limited to, transition programs for college work, independent living resources, and any number of specialized programs. Launchpad guides students, families, and others as they seek admission to institutions of higher learning. This includes, but is not limited to, researching educational institutions, guiding students in the preparation of essays and applications, evaluation of offers for admission and financial aid, exploration of college transition issues, as well as goal setting and educational planning.

Description of Experience : Began working with students in December 2019. I have been working with 7 pro bono clients in the class of 2021 since they were Juniors. I have helped all of them from the creation of their college list to the final application. I will help them with their decision making and provide them a transition to college workshop. I worked as a Practicum Student with Bright Futures LLC in Houston for 6 months. I have one 2021 student who contracted me for a few hours. I currently have two all inclusive students in the class of 2022 and one in the class of 2023. I look forward to taking on up to 15 students in the class of 2022. I finished out 2022 with a full load of students and several hourly clients as well. My class of 2023 is half full and I expect to meet capacity this spring.
