Description of Services : Career Direct 'best fit' career and college major exploration (2.5 hour consultation), online custom college plan account for each student, researching and selecting a college list, college admission overview, essay reviewing (seasonal editor for College Coach with 30+ essays per week), advising SAT / ACT study plan, student activity resume, making the most of college visits, essay workshops, application review and completion, financial aid and scholarship info and scholarship database subscription, interview prep, and availability to answer questions. I enhance the college guidance the school provides by meeting in evenings and Saturdays when they are off duty. I LOVE working with students!

Description of Experience : In 2016, I started Crossroads Mentors because I saw such a need to help overwhelmed students and families with the college admissions process. Crossroads Mentors is student-centered and purpose driven. I got certified as a Career Direct consultant to help identify best fit college major and career. I then went to work in admissions at Northwest University as a counselor to understand the admissions process from the inside. I succeeded in that role for 2.5 and resigned to focus on my college consulting business full time. I am passionate about helping young people make wise college and career decisions that align with their unique design.
