Description of Services : My company provides a comprehensive and defined process of aptitude and interest assessment at the onset of high school to determine the appropriate path of secondary and higher education. Whether it is a college degree or technical certification, we help determine the best means to attain the desired education for the smallest investment by analyzing the family’s financial position, the merits of the student and financial aid opportunities. We offer a battery of services that assist the family in planning for and executing an education plan for their child. We create a tracking system for the college search and application processing, as well as financial aid planning.

Description of Experience : I have provided college application and financial aid planning for students since 1995 as a subsidiary service of my financial planning firm. I am a current member of the Virginia Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators. As of this year I am devoting 100% of my time to college consulting with the new company, Optimum Ed.
