About
Award winning college instructor, published author, and professional grant writer all contribute to my skills as a college admissions consultant focused on providing expert guidance to combat college admissions anxiety so that students apply thoughtfully to colleges that are perfect social, academic, and financial fits.
Mentoring and advising young people as they work through the maze of college admissions has been an important part of my life’s work. As a college instructor with eight years of experience, I enjoyed the opportunity to work with students as they considered their paths through college and beyond. I have helped my students successfully apply for graduate school and professional programs. I have also worked with students on research grants, job application materials, and interview practice.
Now, I am focused on advising high school students through the college admissions process by helping students create a list of good fit schools that meet their social, academic, and financial needs then working alongside these students as an advisor and cheerleader as they develop through-lines in their applications, write their college essays, evaluate their college offers, and matriculate to the perfect school for them.

Description of Services : The Signature Bell & Arch Comprehensive College Admissions Package guides your high school student during their junior and senior years through all the steps of college admissions from forming a strong list to analyzing admissions offers.
I also offer the Building Foundations for College package for freshman and sophomore students to guide students to activities and high school courses that spark their curiosity and feed their passions while also opening as many opportunities as possible for college and beyond.
Description of Experience : I began my practice in January 2021 after working at a nonprofit that served high school students applying for college. I have experience working with students at the nonprofit, and I now have a mix of paying clients in my comprehensive package for college admission and in my freshman/sophomore package. I also work with 3 pro bono clients for area nonprofits who are juniors and will be applying for college next fall.
