Description of Services : I help students choose classes and summer activities, explore major and job options, develop college lists, brainstorm and provide feedback on essays, choose test taking strategies, and research financial aid. I also help students prepare and practice for college and job interviews. Finally, once they receive their admission decisions, I help students decide which schools to attend.

Description of Experience : I have worked with about 80 paid clients and another 30 first generation/low income students at a local public high school where I volunteer. I help with all aspects of the college application process including course selection, finding and applying to summer programs, developing college lists, brainstorming of essay topics, editing essays, and working on financial aid applications. I also help students prepare for interviews. Once students receive their decisions I help them evaluate their offers.
