HECA's Professional Development Institute (PDI) provides you with the knowledge, skills and tools necessary to take your career as an IEC (Independent Educational Consultant) to the next level. Our interactive professional development training provides you with knowledge and resources necessary to ethically and effectively guide students. You'll learn practical business strategies to help you level up your business.

Who can attend the Institute?
All consultants are invited to attend, but especially those with 0-10 years of experience. Registration for the Institute is open to members, provisional members and non-members.

Time: 8-3 pm Pacific Time/11-6 pm Eastern Time

Priority Registration (Sep 15-Dec 5, 2025)
$325 HECA members/ $395 Non-Members

Regular Registration (Dec 6-Jan 16, 2026)
$375 HECA members/ $435 Non-Members

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with a Zoom link to access the PDI session. This will be the only email you will receive with the link so be sure to save that email.

A non-refundable administrative fee of $75 will be applied to cover processing costs associated with cancellations or other fee adjustments.
